Breaking the boundaries of spanish

The United States is one of the leading countries in education and innovation; the best educational insititutions in the world are located there and it's no coincidence that the Isabella & Ferdinand Spanish Academy has its headquarters in Washington, DC. With their Spanish language learning programs for children and adults, both face-to-face and virtual, Isabella & Ferdinand are reshaping the learning of the Spanish language, making their students learn from experience, reality and feelings.

Traditional teaching for years has been based on teaching the Spanish language with methodologies that do not go beyond pencil and paper, creating great confusion among students between the use of letters and the use of grammatical rules, a lot of frustration and even embarrassment, especially among Latinos when writing; Not to mention that during language teaching, Latinos learn based on European culture, totally moving away from reality and the use of expressions and feelings in Latin American countries.

As such, the Isabella & Ferdinand Spanish Academy breaks all boundaries in language learning, ensuring that its students acquire a solid understanding, not only of the language, but also of the art, literature and culture of Spain and Latin America.

The Isabella & Ferdinand Spanish Academy, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes for Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), proudly holds a yearly international meeting with Spanish language learners at a cultural camp. Students take part online or face-to-face, giving them the opportunity to travel, see new places and soak up different cultures.

In 2023 the Cultural Camp will take place in June, the headlining act will be The Latin American Circus, with characters from the Disney movie, Encanto.

It will showcase Colombian culture and the country's diversity; the Venezuelan culture and its mix of three different backgrounds, (Spanish European, Indigenous American and African cultures), as well as the different ethnicities of Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.

In this wonderful cultural camp, students will learn about art, poetry, dance, stories and many fun activities; They also have the opportunity to travel to Bolivia and Washington. DC, or participate virtually, alongside other Spanish language students and tutors.
